The Journey: Champions
The storyline called The Journey: Champions offers the player three different characters and their separate stories. The player can follow career paths of Kim Hunter, Alex Hunter or Danny Williams. Their careers run in the same span of time and intertwine, which means you can switch to the other protagonist whenever you want to.
Alex Hunter is no newbie to FIFA – he has already been through a lot in previous entries of the series. He used to be signed to a Premier League club but was sent off on a loan to Championship. Then he had an episode in the American Major League Soccer, before returning to the Old Continent to fulfil his lifelong dream – playing for Real Madrid.
This is where we kick off with his story in FIFA 19. Now Alex will have the ability to improve his skills under the watchful eye of his idols from one of the best soccer clubs on the globe. What about Danny? Well, he used to be Alex’s foe, now they are friends. They first met during the final tests in National Football Academy. They didn’t quite get along, but it changed when they reunited in Premier League. When Alex left to join the Los Angeles club, Danny stepped into his shoes in an English club. Now Danny is a solid part of the team and is ready for more. Kim Hunter is the half-sister of Alex and a young American soccer player.
Her goal is to play on the highest level of women’s soccer. She signs to LA Galaxy. A short time later she has the chance to play for a senior national team of the USA. We find her on the verge of competing in the Women’s World Cup.
Graphics and Music in FIFA 2019
The soundtrack to FIFA 2019 is even stronger and bolder than before. EA SPORTS gathered some great contemporary artists to create a medley of hits that will breathe in life and energy to your matches and tournaments.
Music creates emotions as raw and unique as the game of football itself. Every song is perfectly in tune with the FIFA 19 vibe. Some of the artists featured on FIFA 2k19 soundtrack are Gorillaz, Crystal Fighters, Childish Gambino, LSD – a specially formed supergroup of Labrinth, Sia and Diplo with their hit songs.
New hits from some less-known, but acclaimed artists like Young Fathers, Mansionair and Jungle also made the cut. Rising stars the likes of Stealth, Bugzy Malone, Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, NoMBe, Octavian, Bearson were given a unique chance to shine on the game’s soundtrack and reach a new audience. Whereas the last chapter of The Journey: Champions career mode is accompanied by Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe’s score.
Zimmer is a world-famous and acclaimed composer, who won an Oscar and was responsible, among others, for the soundtrack to King Lion or Gladiator. Balfe made scores for Mission: Impossible – Fallout or Pacific Rim: Rebellion. Their track is dramatic, beautiful, unique, and perfectly fits the storyline.

The video game’s graphics improvements include 200 new scans of players’ heads. Impressive animation updates cover squads, score tables, and more, making the game looks just like a real thing you can watch on TV.
